We received this as a Christmas present for our 4.5 yr old. I have to say it is one of the only games I love playing with her several times a week. (A lot of the other games, like Candy Land, drive me nuts!) It is increasing her ability to spell and recognize words. And you do not have to sort out pieces — there are exactly enough letters to complete all the words. EXCELLENT game — our favorite — definitely.

Item was received in a timely manner. Enjoyable game for my five-year-old granddaughter. Letter chips are cardboard. Thought they would be made with more durable material like a Scrabble Jr. I purchased years ago for my daughter. Was surprised that I could not find this item at Walmart, Walgreens or Dollar stores. Thanks to Amazon, I found it for Christmas.

I am a former teacher so I understand how important words and reading are for the educational development of children. This is definitely a creative and educational game! I like the fact that it has an easy side and a harder side so that it is appropriate for different ages of chidren.
I sent two Scrabble Junior games and one large adult Scrabble game as Christmas presents to a non-biological “family” of 16 children and 7 adults living in two houses in Monrovia, Liberia located in western Africa. I am told everybody loves them. The children watch the adults play their game, and then they take turns playing the junior games.
