Limited! Playskool Step Start Walk ‘n Ride
Playskool Step Start Walk ‘n Ride Review

I bought this as a christmas gift for a friend’s baby. The set up was relatively easy no screw drivers necessary – requires minimal snapping into place type set up. I bought this gift only because he was a little shy of being a year old and was gearing up to take his first step. I thought it would be a great toy/learning tool since a lot of times he was scared of standing alone and this toy can help him practice his steps while playing.
The minute the set up was complete – he pushed the toy around back and forth between the kitchen and living room. Occasionally being tired he would sit and play with the different toys attached on the toys in front of the toy.
A great affordable gift items for babies who are gearing up to taking their first step!

Playskool Step Start Walk ‘n Ride Specifications
When little wobblers are bored with walls and sofa edges, and there’s no one to offer a hand, they can two-foot it safely across that open ocean of living-room floor with the help of the Step Start walker. This dual-purpose toy acts as stable support as they learn to walk, then lets them roll along when they want to ride. Once they are secure on their legs, the walker converts easily to a first ride-on toy. (Only adults can operate the wheel-lock mechanism.) A flexible antenna, spinning drum, clicking gear, and other sight-touch-sound features provide sit-down play fun. Assembly requires a Phillips screwdriver. –Ava Natov

Mr. Independent! – K. REYNOLDS –
My 11-month-old grandson was a little skeptical when we first introduced him to this toy, he cried and wouldn’t hold on. But after a few tries he is moving through the house like GANGBUSTERS!!!!
He likes playing with the interactive features on the front when he’s not up walking around. It’s the perfect height and the handle fits his little hands. It was very easy to assemble, took less than 5-minutes.
I was afraid it wouldn’t be sturdy enough and the wheels would roll out from under him when he pushed but it’s very stationary and supports him well. Now he’s Mr. Independent and it has really helped him gain the confidence he needs to walk on his own.
My 9 Month Old Loves It! – Josiah Andrews – Brunswick, MD
My 9 month old can’t stand yet or sit and move the car around (may be due to the fact that we have carpet), but she loves to just sit on the car and grab at the gadgets. She always manages to pull the lid off the compartment and chew on that. I know it will be even better when she can stand with it and actually move with it, but for right now, she’s just learning to scoot so that might be awhile. But she loves the toys on it and it’s very colorful. The wheels don’t turn very well though (even on hard floor). Maybe that’s just the one we got. I would recommend it, although I did see it a little cheaper in another store, of course after I already bought it through here.
Do Not Buy This – Amanda L. Davis – Adrian,MI USA
I really didn’t like this toy. It is nonfunctioning as both a walking toy and a riding one. As a walker, there isn’t enough room for a child’s feet when they are walking with it in front of them. As a rider and walker, it doesn’t roll very well. I just didn’t like this at all. It also doesn’t have as many activities on it as many other walking and riding toys. I would not recommend anyone buy this.
